Dolly Parton Talks Gratitude, Family, and Authenticity: The 2016 Interview – Encore Episode 579

Dr. Nancy, just had to tell you how much I enjoyed listening to your interview with Dolly Parton. I had not heard it before and just happened upon it today… unfortunately probably due to the fact that Dolly has passed away today and what a loss to the music industry. Ironically I had just seen an interview on TV the other day when she spoke about her recent health issues but she looked very healthy to me and I was shocked when I read of her passing just this afternoon. What great and varied career between her musical and movie experiences not to mention her business ventures most of all “Dollywood”. Thank you for that warm and enlightening look into her life. The only thing that would have made it better for me was if you had in fact sung a few bars of “Jolene” and made a this music teacher that much more proud of his former choral student. ( haha, only kidding ) You really don’t have to worry about singing, you have a gift for what you do you certainly do it well if I say so myself!
